We are thrilled to announce the publication of our new text, in English: NANDA International Nursing Diagnoses: Definitions and classification, 2021-2021. Available in print and e-book formats, the text can be ordered from our publishing partner, Thieme Publishers. We expect new translations with this release, based on worldwide interest in our work. Translations are expected to be available soon in Dutch and Japanese, with others following as quickly as quality translation permits.
Readers will notice significant changes to the book, including revised and new introductory chapters that provide critical information needed for nurses to understand assessment, its link to diagnosis and clinical reasoning, and the purpose and use of taxonomic structure for nurses at the bedside. Researchers will also find new recommendations to improve the terminology, along with our new level of evidence criteria that will be implemented with the next edition.
